Creating WereWolf Kibble is an excellent treat for your little spooky friends while out Trick or Treatin'.

Tip: To make this recipe look extra special, make peanut butter cookies rolled and cutout with bone shaped cookie cutters. Mix the small bone shaped cookies into your 'Werewolf Kibble' mix. You could also use a bone shaped chocolate mold to make candy mix-ins.

Basic WereWolf Kibble Recipe

    3-1/4 cups Chex rice cereal
    1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    3 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
1. Put cereal in a large bowl.
2. Place chocolate and peanut butter in a small microwave-safe dish. Microwave chocolate mixture on high for 30 seconds. Stir.
3. Continue to microwave for 15 seconds at a time, stirring each time until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, and stir gently until the cereal is well-coated.
5. Add powdered sugar a little at a time, stir and continue to add until well-coated.
6. Spread Wolf Kibble into a single layer and allow to dry.
7. Store in 1-quart canning jars.

Werewolf Kibble Recipe (Large Quanity)

    9 cups Rice Chex cereal
    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1. Measure cereal into a large bowl, set aside.
2. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.
3. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
4.Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
5. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
